'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' now available in Pakistan on Amazon Prime Video

(Web Desk) - Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, one of the biggest Bollywood films of this year, is now viewable on the OTT service Amazon Prime Video. Since its July premiere, the love drama with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the central coupling has amassed a sizable fan base.

Rocky and Rani are here to meet you with their prem kahaani, the director Karan Johar said on Instagram by posting a poster for the movie with the caption: "! Watch #RRKPKPrime right now on @primevideoin exclusively. On September 22, 2023, the well-known director made the announcement, much to the delight of fans who missed the chance to see it when it first came out in theatres.

Karan Johar cast seasoned performers like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachan for this movie in addition to the well-known on-screen 'it' couple of Alia and Ranveer in the starring parts. Given that they have recently made less and fewer film appearances, it was extremely exciting to see these three Bollywood giants united on screen.

Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chatterjee, the movie's protagonists, are at the centre of the story. Alia is a feminism-advocating journalist who comes from an intelligent Begali family, in contrast to Rocky who comes from a Punjabi family mired in outdated patriarchal traditions. The pair eventually gels, and together they set out on a mission to reconnect their grandparents, who were once lovers but were torn apart by events in life.

Despite having quite different upbringings and cultural backgrounds, the young people find up falling in love. The couple, like their grandparents, must overcome substantial obstacles that stand in the path of their love, though. Their love story ends up being a contemporary retelling of the struggles Rocky's grandfather and Rani's grandmother had during their courtship. However, all works out in the end, and the young couple has a happy conclusion to the story.
